My two cents - While some industries or companies may be implementing new strategies for evaluating candidates, I don't see traditional resumés going away.
And a resumé (at least a good one) should provide depth to the candidate, not just list their previous work experiences.
What is clear from the article is the importance of leveraging social media in one's job search. A good reminder for those in career transition!
